Zoeta Dogsoul Responds to Dog Training Study

Research Insight – Chiang Mai, Thailand – July 9, 2025
A new study confirms what Zoeta Dogsoul has long addressed: Most dog owners don’t turn to professionals — and when they do, it’s often too late.

In a revealing study published in the journal Animals, researchers Johnson and Wynne (2024) found that 95% of dog guardians in the United States never consult a professional trainer — even when behavioural concerns arise. Instead, they turn to friends, family, or the internet, often relying on fragmented advice and outdated methods.

Zoeta Dogsoul, based in Chiang Mai, Thailand, has built an entire training paradigm around preventing this very disconnect. Rather than waiting for problems to escalate, Zoeta teaches dog-human teams how to build clarity and trust through neurosemantic routines, embodied leadership, and what the program calls Neurobond – Invisible Leash — the art of being chosen, not obeyed.

“We see it every day,” says Sebastian Stroeller, founder of Zoeta Dogsoul. “People come to us after YouTube advice failed, after leash jerks backfired, after shouting only escalated reactivity. But by then, the damage is not just in the dog — it’s in the bond.”

The study also shows that while most guardians believe they use reward-based methods, over half would still resort to punishment when faced with specific issues like barking or pulling. Zoeta’s method reframes such behaviours not as dominance, but as distress — miscommunication, unmet need, or a fractured sense of guidance.

Through its training app, live sessions, and video content on platforms like Apple TV, Roku, and Samsung TV, Zoeta now brings this clarity-driven approach to dog owners worldwide. The goal is not to control the dog but to restore the invisible leash — the unseen thread of shared decision-making between species.

As Johnson and Wynne suggest, the dog training world is not just about methods — it’s about education. And few embody that mission as precisely as Zoeta Dogsoul.
